A real-life thriller chronicling Laura Poitras and journalist Glenn Greenwald’s encounters with Edward Snowden in Hong Kong, as he hands over classified documents providing evidence of mass indiscriminate and illegal invasions of privacy by the National Security Agency (NSA).

A post-screening discussion will be led by Matt Rothschild of the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign

SOCIAL CINEMA: STORIES OF STRUGGLE & CHANGE explores important contemporary social topics from critical perspectives. Each screening is followed by a discussion of the issues explored in the film.
