The Labor Spring Workers’ Fair aims to put students in conversation with workers who labor in their fields of study. While the traditional “career fair” provides information about jobs and career pathways from the employer’s point of view, this event centers the voices and experiences of those that do the work, so that students gain greater insight into the practicalities of employment in a multitude of fields.
This event is presented in collaboration with the Havens Wright Center for Social Justice, the High Road Strategy Center, and the South Central Federation of Labor as part of Labor Spring 2024, a broad range of events anchored on college campuses and in the community organized to bolster workplace justice, racial equity, and the public good.
